Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, COVID-19, and the Governors mandates on social distancing, we have decided to cancel the SouthCentral Bike Fest (SCBF) for 2020. Not running the festival this year has been a difficult decision and will certainly have a negative effect on our ability to raise funds in support of our local cancer support groups. As of this notice over 600 Virginians have died from the COVID-19 virus and we feel we must do our part to aid in reducing the spread of this deadly virus. We are already beginning to make plans for next year’s Bike Fest with the hope of it being the biggest and best festival we have had yet.
For those of you who have already contributed funds for the SCBF, there will be information forthcoming to advise you of what your options may be. Refunds will be provided to those who purchased tickets and/or campsites. Continue to check back to this website periodically and, if you have questions, feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing everyone back again next year!
A note to mobile users…
The theme used for our website includes formats that will support smartphones and tablets. However, it has been brought to our attention that those mobile formats are not working very well. Until this can be corrected, we suggest that you use your computer or tablet to browse the site and to purchase tickets. Thank you for your patience! – Bill
Who We Are…
The SouthCentral Bike Fest is not the first event to be held for bikers here in Chase City, Virginia. For many years this event was called The SouthCentral Bike Fair and was sponsored and overseen by the Chase City Volunteer Fire Department. In 2016, the Fire Department decided not to continue the Bike Fair for understandable reasons.
A group of local motorcycle enthusiasts wanted to see this event continue. With an eye towards providing a weekend dedicated to motorcycle riders and others who enjoy the friendship, camaraderie and just plain fun that accompanies the event, a group came together to continue the tradition! Notice we changed the name to the SouthCentral Bike Fest instead of SouthCentral Bike Fair indicating a new Bike Event, managed by a new group of people. A new steering committee was formed and will continue to work diligently to see that this is an annual event, one that will improve over time using suggestions from people just like you! For bikers, by bikers!
